Wacker Neuson implements SAP Hybris Commerce
International rollout with Sybit
The Wacker Neuson Group, a globally leading manufacturer of high-quality construction equipment and compact machines, opted to implement the SAP Hybris Commerce solution in collaboration with consulting firm Sybit. This was prompted by the desire for a central sales and service platform that could be accessed by both distributors and industry customers.
“We wanted a portal that would offer our customers and distributors absolutely everything that they need for an efficient quotation, order and service process – Sybit accepted that challenge with us and mastered it perfectly,” , said Harald Meier, Head of E-Business at the Wacker Neuson Group.
Always open: the customer portal
Thanks to seamless integration with the SAP ERP and SAP CRM solutions among others, the customer portal based on the SAP Hybris Commerce solution maps the entire quotation and order process. In addition, it provides a comprehensive overview of material master data, technical attributes and spare parts. Using the online product configuration function, customers can define the specification of their excavator or wheel loader to suit their requirements and receive a matching quotation. To ensure an uncomplicated service process, product registration and the recording of warranty claims and machine details are also performed via the customer portal.
