Spare part shops with SAP E-Commerce

E-business for spare part sales

Machines that stand idle due to defective parts cost the company a lot of money. Quick order processing is, therefore, of primary importance particularly in the spare part business. No other sales area has a similarly strong influence on the satisfaction of its customers and their loyalty to the company.

A webshop provides a wide range of possibilities to score points in this regard: it can be reached at any time, identification of the correct spare parts is facilitated, information is immediately delivered with regard to their availability, and the risk of wrong ordering is minimized. Invoices, quotations, credit notes and down payments can be searched directly in the shop, and if required, can be printed out by the customers themselves.

Spare part shops by Sybit

Sybit spare part shops are based on SAP e-commerce and are adapted and supplemented according to your individual requirements. For example, by our tried and tested Sybit AddOns, developed in numerous customer projects.

A suitable solution is, therefore, offered for every requirement - and in addition:

  • Simple, clearly structured user guidance
  • Integration of external product catalogues with graphic navigation in the product catalogue
  • Current check on availability against stocks
  • Customer individual pricing
  • Quotation processing via the shop
  • Download of quotation documents and order confirmation
  • Display of invoices and credit notes
  • Current status information on the order
  • Display of tracking information from the ERP (forwarder with package number)

Integration of external product catalogues with graphic navigation in the product catalogue

Spare parts can be quickly and easily identified via a graphic product catalogue. At the same time, drawings are viewable as graphics in the catalogue. Selecting parts through these drawings is also possible.

After alterations, spare part catalogues can be quickly updated and are, therefore, always up-to-date. Wrong orders can be as good as ruled out by further checks, for example, by entering a serial number and automatic validation.

Current check on availability against stocks

Particularly in the spare part business, the customer has to know whether the part required is on stock, or has long delivery times. The webshop, therefore, directly accesses stock information in the SAP system.

Download of quotation documents and order confirmation

The customer can print out quotations, order confirmations, or invoices himself via the shop. Documents which have gone missing can, therefore, be printed out again without any great effort. These documents do not differ from those sent to customers by conventional means.

Current status information on the order

The customer always has a current overview of his orders via the shop. Which order has just been dispatched? Which is still open? Recurring orders can be stored via order templates and used again and again.
