SAP Internet Sales at the Wirtgen Group
The companies of the Wirtgen Group, manufacturers of machines for road construction, will also be selling their promotional items in future via Webshops with the aid of SAP Internet Sales.
The companies belonging to the Wirtgen Group, the companies Wirtgen, Vögele and Hamm, develop and produce machines and equipment for road construction. To achieve the aim of their marketing articles also being offered in the Internet in future, Sybit first designed and installed two SAP internet sales prototypes including pricing with the IPC. On the basis of their experience with the prototypes, the companies transferred their requirements to a productive system. Sybit will implement these over the coming weeks. They will include functions not provided for in the SAP Internet sales product standard, which will need to be implemented by Sybit. The webshops based on SAP R/3 will form the basis for extending to replacement parts shops later.
