After successfully implementing its plan of offering individually designable sportswear in the B2B area, the company also wanted to offer this possibility to its private customers. Visitors to the B2C webshop should be able to design the products they desire, particularly football accessories, according to their own ideas. While doing so, it was important that the configuration steps undertaken be visually easy to follow. A function which the product configurator used, the SAP IPC, does not provide. The solution: SAP E-Commerce for ERP, SAP IPC and the Sybit Configuration Visualizer (SCV) provides the company with an online shop where the customer can configure and order their products. At the same time, the SCV, a development by Sybit integrated into the IPC web application, displays the current product configuration at any time throughout the configuration process.
