Swiss Television Video Portal: Winner at the Best of Swiss Web

Video wall, customizability and an intelligent search function. The advantages of the multimedia fireworks (News dated 11.08.2009) also convinced the jury of the Best of Swiss Web Association, an initiative to promote transparency and quality in the Swiss web and ICT sector. In awarding the best Internet project of the year, the jury nominated the video portal of Swiss Television as the winner in the category "Usability" and rewarded its services in the categories "Online Marketing" and "Public Affairs" with silver. For "Technology" and "Innovation", the portal received bronze.

The project was, therefore, successful in five out of a total of ten categories, ranging from technical and creative implementation, user-friendliness, through to positioning the online project in a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy.

The awards which are presented annually in Zurich are the main element of the Best of Swiss Web Association whose aim it is to make the e-business and Internet scene readily available, as well as providing attractive networking opportunities. The Best of Swiss Web Award is the most important Swiss Internet award and was awarded for the tenth time this year.
