SF Videoportal: ergonomics and individuality

Completing the SF Videoportal (www.videoportal.sf.tv) was one of the most important steps in the purposeful realization of the digital strategy of the German-language Swiss television broadcaster Schweizer Fernsehen.
The portal serves as a multiplier with the purpose of making the SF television offering available on further digital platforms suitable for the target groups. The underlying usage concept of the video portal, which is based on human needs, comes through in an appealing and ergonomic design as well as a user-friendly search engine. Be it personal playlists or support through recommendations and references to comparable preferences in the user community, the focus is always on user requirements.
The most extensive automation of the editorial processes possible and seamless interaction between the video portal and the existing service-oriented system landscape were further challenges for Sybit as general contractor.
