Successful Information Day variant configuration with SAP

Some 300 visitors attended the 9th Information Day on Variant Configuration with SAP. The highlight of the event was the keynote address by Martin Elsner from SAP on the topic of digitization in industry.

The attendees showed themselves fully satisfied with the event. In collaboration with SAP and further partners, consulting firm Sybit gave over 20 talks and conducted various workshops. Topics including SAP CPQ (Configure Price Quote) in Hybris, online configuration and variant configuration in S/4HANA provided enlightening insights into the current solution scenarios relating to quotation configuration, individual pricing and the latest technologies.

“Our visitors come from businesses that manufacture highly complex, customer-specific products,” says Martin Müller, General Manager Sales at Sybit GmbH.” And that means that they have to face the challenges of the digital transformation in their interaction with customers. Every year, our event provides insights into the latest developments – and our visitors appreciate that.”

Besides the opportunity for networking, the visitors obviously enjoyed the customer reports about topics such as material variants and 3D visualization. One highlight was a talk delivered by Fabian Huber (Sybit GmbH) on Customer Relationship Management 2.0.
