Sybit at SAP NOW in Berlin

Radolfzell, 15 March 2019 In keeping with the motto “Shaping the future”, at the Berlin-Tempelhof airport, SAP provided a forum for everyone who wants to make intelligent companies a reality and thus advance digitalisation. Visitors had the chance to gain practical insights and specialist knowledge regarding technologies and solutions directly from the source. The Customer Experience Area focused on putting the customer in the limelight, and it was here that SAP Gold Partner Sybit worked with the experts in attendance to present its expertise for an holistic customer journey with SAP C/4HANA.

SAP NOW is considered to be one of the most important events relating to digitalisation and innovation topics. A varied programme of presentations and workshops provided an extensive overview of current transformation projects. In addition, visitors could experience the specific benefits of digitalisation in showcases. More than 1,000 technical experts, partners and decision makers from IT and business ex-changed ideas about relevant topics for the future and explored the issue of how the vision of intelligent companies can be made a reality.

Various topic areas focusing on the intelligent enterprise

The vision of intelligent companies is based on the idea of networking company processes across all de-partmental boundaries. This principle was clearly structured and made visible for visitors using different topic areas. In the Customer Experience Area, Sybit had its own stand and an interactive showcase. Here, the consulting firm’s experts in digital customer processes presented their entire service portfolio, from strategic consulting and implementation right up to integration on the basis of the SAP Customer Experience Suite. As an architect of digital customer processes, Sybit implements successful projects in B2B environments.

Showcase – the customer journey from different perspectives

At the Sybit showcase, visitors experienced the customer journey as an end-to-end process across multi-ple stations, taking INDEX-Werke as a specific example. This machine manufacturer’s customer experi-ence (based on SAP C/4HANA) was presented to impressive effect from the perspective of marketing, sales, service and commerce. Visitors followed all the aspects of customer life cycle management, from the first digital touchpoint to a quotation, order and service, all the way to machine management via an IoT-supported portal.

In his talk, Jan Erik Jung, process manager at INDEX-Werke GmbH & Co. KG, also presented its successful collaboration on a platform with fully integrated processes. The goal here is to enable all users to work in a single system and on the same process. Since this is the only way to enable a fully comprehensive, 360-degree customer perspective, the manufacturer of CNC turning machines decided to implement the SAP Sales Cloud, SAP Service Cloud and SAP Commerce Cloud. Sybit accompanied the project from the very beginning.
